Stan’s Flow is a 28mm wide rim that supports today’s wider size tires and stands up to aggressive all-mountain use. Although it’s not recommended, Stan’s even has DH racers competing on this rim! A perfect match for today’s 5/6/7″ travel machines.

Hope’s Pro II hub features compatibilitywith the 6 bolt disc brake rotor standard and is convertible tovirtually every axle standard in use on MTBs today via add-on adapters,including 15mm front, 20mm front, and 142mm rear. Rears take 8/9/10spShimano and Shimano-compatible cassettes.

Tech Specs

• ISM (Inter Spoke Milling): Lighter rim and equal rigidity is the magic equation to reduce inertia and to free extra power for climbing. A Mavic patented exclusive concept (US 6 402 256).
• UST (Universal Standard for Tubeless): The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort while reducing inertia and flats. – No tube, no tape, fully sealed rim for convenient handling – Enables to ride at lower tyre pressure – UST rim profile with specific humps to fix securely the tyre beads – Compatible with all types of tyres (UST, Tubeless ready, tubetype).
• FTS-X (Force Transfer System X): A further-improved FTS free wheel system to meet the demand of intensive MTB riding as closely as possible: stregthened pawls, self locking axle end screw to make the freewheel mechanism even more hard wearing and a new seal halving friction torque.
• QRM (Qualité de Roulements Mavic): Mavic only uses high quality sealed cartridge bearings. On QRM wheels, they provide high durability thanks to double sealing (2RS or LLU) as well as high efficiency thanks to C3 internal clearance (low play, tight tolerances).
• Fore: Only one of the 2 rim wall is “drilled”: The rim is 4 times more resistant to fatigue stress resulting in a  20% increase in the rim rigidity to transfer all of your energy to the ground.
• SUP (Soudé Usiné Process): After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish. A welded and milled rim joint is extremely strong, eliminates shuddering when braking, and offers superior wheel balance.
• Maxtal: Exclusive to Mavic. An aluminum alloy that is 30% more resistant than a 6106 alloy, for lighter and stronger rims.
