Rocky Mountain Fusion Bike ’11 (BI267A02)
Rocky Mountain Hardtail
Rocky Mountain Fusion
ST3 Technology – or Sloping Top Tube Technology, is Rocky Mountain’s design concept that creates a compact front end, giving increased agility in tight turning singletrack while providing increased stiffness for greater control in all conditions. It also makes the frame a lot tougher. With a greater separation between the top tube/seat tube and seat tube/seat stay welds, frame stress is distributed over a larger area of the seat tube. Originated by Rocky Mountain and copied by others, ST3 delivers a better handling, stronger frame – the ride of a lifetime.

Jamis Dakota Race Femme ’10 (BI260A01)
Jamis Bicycles Hardtail
Dakota Race Femme
Dakota Race is Jamis’ grassroots racer, the bike that exists at that sweet spot where the intersecting curves of performance, speed, fun and price intersect.
The Dakota Race’s chassis was engineered to make the most of lightweight, triple-butted kinesis SuperLight tubing, incorporating a semi-integrated head tube and down tube gussets for strength and steering precision, with a feathery light carbon monostay that smooths the ride and enhances rear-end traction without compromising pedaling efficiency.
The Femme version benefits from female-specific geometry for a better riding position that’s more physiologically efficient, but still optimizes weight distribution and position over the pedals for traction and handling. It also features Jamis’ SST size-specific tubing for a perfect ride that’s precision-tuned for every frame size.
Hit the trail and you’ll see Dakota is much more than the sum of its carefully selected parts. A smart cockpit configuration and perfect geometry showcase just how good everything is. This is a bike that makes fun trail rides easy, and takes the equipment worries out of racing. It lets you concentrate on you.
