Rocky Mountain Altitude 29
The Altitude 29 is a big-wheel re-interpretation of Rocky Mountain’s best selling trail bike.  Straight Up geometry, FORM™   tubing, and SmoothLink suspension all come standard, as well as choice componentry and Rocky Mountain’s reputation for well-built and excellent handling bikes (which you absolutely cannot get anywhere else).

Features:

  • Straight Up Geometry: Rocky Mountain’s first of its kind 76-degree seat angle gives you a bio-mechanically correct seat position allowing for maximum horsepower with each pedal stroke. It also limits pressure in your “sensitive areas.”
  • FORM™ tubing: A line of high-performance tubing that pushes the limits of tube and frame design to create the frame’s unique riding feel. Rocky Mountain engineers control every shape, wall thickness, tapers, flares, and bends in each and every tube.
  • SmoothLink suspension: Placing the rear pivot above the rear hub axle keeps the average chain torque line parallel to the lower link (the line between main pivot and rear pivot) and eliminates pedal bob.

Rocky Mountain Element 30 MSL Bike ’11 ()

Rocky Mountain Element 30 MSL Bike '11 ()

Rocky Mountain Element 30 MSL
While this may be Rocky Mountain’s lowest-priced full-suspension carbon mountain bike, to call it “entry level” just isn’t doing it justice.  Consider the full-Shimano componentry.  Where many bike companies skimp on smaller parts like the chain, cassette, or sometimes even the crankset, the Element 30 MSL is “fully Shimanoed.”  Rocky Mountain’s FORM™ carbon, SmoothLink suspension, and Angular Bushing Concept™ (ABC) pivots even further justifies this bike’s stellar value.

Features:

  • SmoothLink suspension: Placing the rear pivot above the rear hub axle keeps the average chain torque line parallel to the lower link (the line between main pivot and rear pivot) and eliminates pedal bob
  • ABC™ Pivot Technology: The patent-pending Angular Bushing Concept™ (ABC) pivots are lighter, more durable, and laterally stiffer (105%) than a cartridge bearing. Plus, they need almost no maintenance – just clean the contact surfaces from time to time.
  • FORM™ tubing: A line of high-performance tubing that pushes the limits of tube and frame design to create the frame’s unique riding feel. Rocky Mountain engineers control every shape, wall thickness, tapers, flares, and bends in each and every tube.
