You’ve heard about it and you’ve probably read about it, it’s a legend.  This frame can compete with any 5″ frame on weight and efficiency and still battle it out with 6″+ frames on the downhill.  The front triangle features a hydroformed top tube with an octagonal cross section that increases rigidity and lowers weight.  The rear triangle uses carbon fiber seat and chain stays.

The premise behind the AS-R 7′s development was to create a trail bike with even more travel and descending capabilities than the 575 platform, and still be a capable climber.  Well, you have exactly that in the AS-R 7: 7″ of rear-wheel travel in a 7.5 lb package.  The main pivot location and leverage ratio make the as-r 7 an efficient pedaling machine.  But when gravity takes over, that’s when things get fun.

The fully custom hydroformed tubeset enabled Yeti to optimize the weight-to-stiffness ratio of the frame.  With this frame it is possible to build a 29 lb complete 7″ travel bike.  Pair that with a tapered headtube, 12mm custom rear thru axle, swingarm mounted front derailleur, ISCG mount, gravity dropper cable routing, and an ultra stiff carbon dogbone, and you have your do-it-all bike equipped for tackling the accents and ripping down the descents.  With the AS-R 7 you have all the tools to take on whatever the trail throws at you, and not think twice about it.

Climb easier – descend faster.  Lighter and more nimble than most dedicated big-drop, big-hit bikes, the El Guapo is a whole lot more plush than the fast twitch behavior of XC oriented frames.  Depending on the parts mix the El Guapo can easily be built under 30lbs and ridden as a confidence inspiring trail bike.  Go slightly more heavy duty on the part selection and it is very capable of running with the big dogs in chairlift country.

The 575 has been oneof Yeti’s most popular bikes for years!  It’s the definition ofversatile; lightweight and efficient when riding up hill, burly andsure footed when gravity takes over.  For ’11 Yeti made the 575even more capable, adding several key features while maintaining it’slightweight, all mountain heritage.  Up front you’ll find agorgeous hydroformed tubeset with tapered head tube, ISCG mount and acompletely redesigned main pivot.  The main pivot utilizesdouble row bearings and hydroformed junction for unparalleled stiffnessand durability.  The rear triangle has been completelyredesigned as well.  Stout alloy chainstays, with internalderailleur cable routing, lead back to the dropouts.  There youwill find Yeti’s chip system, run QR(standard) or 12x142QR(soldseparately) the choice is yours.  Moving up to the seatstaysyou’ll see lightweight yet strong carbon fiber construction. To celebrate their 25th anniversary Yeti took one of the most iconic and game changing frames ever made and turned into something even more.  This limited edition 25th anniversary 575 will be produced in a batch of 250 frames/bikes, each one individually numbered.  The first and most notable change was the paint scheme, paying homage to their heritage with classic team colors, “dart” design and graphics.  Enhancements to the frame include a tapered head tube to boost front end stiffness, iscg mounts, chainstay mounted front derailleur for precise shifting, revised seat tube bottom bracket junction and a new alloy chain stay design with thru axle.  Included with the frameset is a Fox Float fork and headset.  With these enhancements Yeti created a frame not only visually stunning but also more than capable to take on your most epic rides!  Own a piece of history!
